Freshman Drawing

I rather think of drawing as my second language, as it was a daily activity I partook in from the age of 4 to 24. When I entered art school in the Midwest, I considered myself a drawer. This identity quickly became too limiting, however, as I began to expand my work into other alternate studio art disciplines.
