Junior Photo

Photography piqued my curiosity, as its technical aspects gave me something to wrestle with. The School of Fine Arts didn’t offer photography, and so I had to take classes in the School of Commu-nication Technologies. I was forewarned by the school that it didn’t approve of art majors taking their classes, believing that they hadn’t the technical skills required for the subject. I eventually minored in photography, and my Brooks Institute professor honored me by stating that he expected to see my work soon gracing the cover of Petersen’s Photographic magazine. Talk about an auspicious vision!
