The Man… The Myth... The Bells of St. Freddie! To commemorate Euro Freddie’s 12 month column return I have created an edition of twelve cycling bells. Made from Turkish bronze finger cymbals, and repurposed Campagnolo bottom bracket tools, these bells epitomizes the spirit of AKA Global Freddie's exotic adventures, embarking from Turkey, and foreshadowed throughout Asia by stow-away Italian bicycle parts. Heady stuff for the dedicated Euro Freddie literati.
Unlike Euro Freddie’s earlier investigations into cycling subculture, this new installment was created with a fresh, 180 degree approach. Previously, when writing the Eagle Cycling Club’s column, each finished article was paired later with an appropriate photo. However, in this new dozen, each photo was the column’s inspirational source, and each literary excursion sprung forth with unabated verve.
