In this digital photo series, the Artist underwent a shamanistic transformation (as evidenced by the black body paint, and butyl rubber amulets) in order that he might transcend the mere right and left brain, popular model of creative theory. Through the act of self-reflection and self-juxtaposition, the Artist was able to achieve a vision of compound ocularity, and not unlike the Zygote’s own cleavage, recreate himself in a new Quadality. Utilizing both the upper and lower cogitation lobes, as well as the right and left, these 4’ x 4’ photographs offer up a truly higher picture plane for the visually brave.
